Is Kobe Bryant In The Lakers’ Way?

Those that know basketball understand that the Lakers aren’t entirely a lock for a championship this season. And the reason for that is Coach Mike Brown and his implementation of the Princeton Offense. Initially.

Keep in mind, Kobe isn’t used to relying or allowing  others to direct the course of the game, much less in crucial possessions down the stretch. But with the Princeton Offense, he may have to relinquish that role in order for the team to thrive and succeed. Handing over the keys to the veteran Steve Nash seems like a safe move, especially since Kobe’s isolation offense is becoming more and more defendable these days.

So indirectly, Kobe, may very well be all that stands in the way of another banner rising up in Staples.

Interesting.

The Lakers would have 0% chance of winning any of there last 5 championships and anymore in the near future without Kobe! This is the dumbest article I have ever read! 75% of the time Kobe goes with isolation is when the princeton or triangle does not create a good shot attempt or a player does not shoot and throws Kobe the ball with 5 seconds left on the clock. Also when he has a chance to tie or win a game at the end, who else is this clutch, it will be nice to have Nash to kick out to as well, but Kobe is still option #1, and offensively the other 3 future HALL OF FAME players are a close second option. Damn there are more Laker haters this year since ’04 when we picked up Malone and Payton!
