Now this video here, this video is interesting for several reasons. It shows so much about Dwight Howard, who very well may be the player who can push LA back into championship contention. What’s odd about this visit to China is, Dwight just cancelled a kids basketball camp in Orlando citing that he needed “to remain in Southern California to rehabilitate his surgically repaired back”.
Interesting.
What’s also interesting about this video (aside from Dwight’s continuous lack of free throw skill) is it seems to show the same ol’ goofy ass Dwight Howard. I understand that it’s a promotional gig but the antics are quite intact. He seems to have the same childish demeanor. This is something that has had Laker fans worried for weeks. How many games in the season until that moment where Kobe lays out Dwight in the locker room and sets him straight?
10? 20?
Because this Dwight Howard in this video isn’t prepared for the seriousness of the Mamba. That’s championship blood running through Kobe’s veins and best believe he’s stacking up one or even two more rings before he retires. And nobody, not even Superman himself, can stop him.
